Here's a great video by Kouki Kato RC Driver on how to maintain a brushless motor. The video is in Japanese but he does a great job of showing the steps so it's still a very helpful video even if you don't speak Japanese. If you'd like, you can turn on transcripts toward the bottom of the video description, then right click on one of the words in the transcript and select "transcribe page" and Google translate will automatically translate the Japanese transcript to english for you so you can follow along
