I made another 3D printed gadget...
If you've ever damaged an Xray 301381 Graphite Body Post Holder, this piece may help salvage that expensive part. Inserting this filler piece at the bottom of the slot will stop the horizontal post from sliding downward Technically, I'm showing this in an aftermarket Vigor part VG-TH202-XBM that does not have the 5 position spaces - it's just a smooth slot. To use it in the OEM Xray part, you may have to either modify the part or, carefully sand the slot in your Xray part to remove the 5 positions This part will position the screw 4mm up from the bottom of the slot and, when combined with the Xray horizontal rear body post hole template (or my 3d printed version) should give you a 65mm rear body height on an Xtreme Speciale You can use this to either salvage a damaged part or use it to help prevent the screw from moving down in a crash I printed it in PLA with 100% fill I've uploaded the file to Makerworld if you'd like to print some for yourself: makerworld.com/en/models/1558508-xray-x4-horizontal-body-post-hole-filler-4mm By the way, if you don't ever adjust the screw position on your horizontal rear body posts, a think layer of CA glue will help reinforce it so that you may never need this part Comments are closed.
